"As I was going to St. Ives,
I met a man with 7 wives.
Every wife had 7 sacks.
Every sack had 7 cats.
Every cat had 7 kittens.
Kittens, cats, sacks, and wives,
How many were going to St. Ives?"

ReplyDeleteIf all the kittens, cats, and wives were going to st. ives as well as the man and "I" then:
I = 1
man = 1
wives = 7
cats = 343
kittens = 2401
total added up = 2753 everyone going to st. ives
Whew!
